Conductor, composer, vocalist, graduate of Studies in Choral Music and Voice Technique at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, member of the Association of Polish Church Musicians.
His works have been published in several hymnals, including the Dominican hymnal “Niepojęta Trójco” (O Unfathomable Trinity), Canticum Novum, Siedlecki’s, and featured on multiple sacred music albums in Polish and English. Paweł’s compositions are used by choirs all over the world, from the Moscow Cathedral Choir and St. Petersburg Metropolitan Choir to Holy Family Cathedral Choir in Anchorage, AK.
He has partnered and collaborated with many key people involved in early music as well as in the liturgical music renewal movement in Poland, such as Antoni Pilch (Brotherhood of the Lute), Marcin Bornus-Szczyciński (Bornus Consort), Stanisław Szczyciński (Mikroklimat), Taivo Niitvägi (Linnamuusikud, Tallin), Andrej Kotow (Sirin, Moscow), Aleksander Tomczyk (Studium Musicae Cracoviensae, Kraków), and many others.
Paweł’s involvement in the musical environment of the Dominican priory of Krakow has resulted in various major celebrations he prepared and executed, such as Easter Triduum, Christmas Midnight Mass, Ordinations Mass, etc. For several years he has devoted himself to leading liturgical music workshops in Poland and abroad.
